Bedouin Family

We are a family of 8 people, bedouins from the Huwaitat tribe, descendants of the Nabateans who built Petra. We lived in Wadi Rum all our life and our parents and grand-parents too.
We have been guiding visitors around Rum for nearly 20 years.

Presentation of the family :

I am Mooaz Sweileh Al-Hwaitat and i grew up im Wadi Rum. My dad is Saleh and my mum is Alia (She is a great cook !) I have sisters and brothers : Hajjar, Mu’ad, Omar and Mohamad. My uncle is Atiyek, a mechanic, bedouin climber and tracker. My grandma Khadra, lives with us and looks after the family’s goats and camels.

Private Tours only

Unlike other camps, we prefer small groups with private guides. Each person is special and everyone is different . If you have special requests we are very flexible.

Pay at the end

During the booking you will be informed about all costs. You can choose some extras during the booking or once you are here. You will pay at the end of your tour.

Bedouin Family

You will spend time with an authentic bedouin family and private guide . You will feel like home in our family .If you spend the night with us, you will enjoy a quiet bedouin camp far from the crowd.
