Abu Khashaba Canyon

Abu Khashaba canyon is one of the most famous canyons of Wadi Rum. This walk through the canyon takes approximately 50 minutes.

Anfishiyyeh

On the southside of Jabal Anfishiyyeh you will find a big rock wall. You can read some Thamudic and Nabatean petroglyphs and inscriptions.

Barrah Canyon

Barrah canyon is considered like one of the most stunning canyon in Wadi Rum. It is a long corridor of 5 kilometers. This place is very nice to practice hiking. The hike takes around 2 hours.

Bedouin Dams

The Bedouins have built dams in the lower parts of mountains around the desert to have enough water for the bedouin and their animals. Water is collected during the winter and spring.

Burdah Rock Bridge / Jabal Burdah

This famous bridge of around 35 meters high is one of the most highest natural arches in the world. Sportive people can climb it during a 3 hours walk.

Cow Rock

In wadi Rum desert you can observe some funny and unusal rock formations. Some would look like an animal.

Jabal Al-Hash

This mountain is one of most stunning and famous mountains of Wadi Rum. It is close to the Jordanian-Saudi Arabia border.

Jabal Al-Qatar

Jabal Al-Qatar is 1606 meters high . It is one of the biggest and most famous mountains in Wadi Rum.

Jabal Um Ad Dami

Jabal Umm ad Dami is the highest mountain in Jordan. Its claimed elevation of 1,854 metres . It is located near to the border with Saudi Arabia.

Khazali canyon

The Khazali canyon may only be 100 metres long but is home to an abundance of history and nature, such as ancient rock drawings and inscriptions.

Lawrence house

Lawrence house was built by the Romans upon the remains of a Nabatean building. There are stories aying that Lawrence stayed here for the night before traveled to Aqaba. Other stories mention that he used this place to store weaponry. Also the legend says that Lawrence stayed here during the Arab Revolt.

Lawrence spring – Ain Abu Aineh

The Spring is i a short canyon of broken boulders curling into the vast Jebel Rum, Wadi Rums western wall, near Wadi Rum village. Lawrence’s Spring is for most of the year more a puddle with water , cool and green corner of this broiling landscape, an ideal spring scene , in summer days.

Little bridge

Little bridge, is one of the most popular rock bridges in Wadi Rum desert . With its approximately 4 meter span, Little bridge is one of the smaller rock bridges of the desert.

Mushroom rock

In Wadi Rum desert you will see some funny and unusual rock formations, like Mushroom rock.

Rakhabat canyon

The canyon is on the east of Wadi Rum village. It is very nice to practice hike because it offered shades and freshness.

Red sand dune

Wadi Rum desert is world famous for his yellow and red sand. This is a perfect location for many movies (Star Wars, Dune, the Martian..).

Seven Pillars of Wisdom – Jabal Al-Mazmar

It is named after the famous book of T. E. Lawrence “Seven Pillars of Wisdom” (1926). The peak makes visible the two geological formations that prevail in Wadi Rum: a granitoid basement of Precambrian age (4.6 billion years).

Um Sabatah – sunset area

The area is about 10 kilometers from Rum village. It is one of the best places to watch the sunset in Wadi Rum desert. You will take nice pictures there.

Um Fruth rock bridge

Um Fruth rock bridge is an  natural arches in Wadi Rum. The bridge is about 15 meters high. It is easy to climb this bridge. Around 10 minutes climb.
